In the German education system there are different training courses and qualifications for teachers and educators. The former normally study at universities while the latter are trained in academies (Fachschulen, Fachakademien).
In four projects I applied the method of memory-work with prospective educators in such academies. The intention was to find out how best to adapt the method to the specific institutional context.
For each project a comprehensive report was compiled in which information about planning, application and assessment are included. The resulting four reports are quite expansive.
In a further publication I have evaluated the four projects and made available an assessment of the potential of memory-work in the educators’ training courses.
So far the respective material is not translated into English. Hence I wish to point to the German versions. For the summarising evaluation you may simply switch languages (link on the right of this side), or else you may check here.
The four reports on the individual projects are available here.
